If you want to go back in time to an older and less populated Kauai, this is your house and this is your beach. You are minutes from Hanalei. This home is newly renovated. Wonderful Views! This spacious house has 3 bedrooms/ 3 bathrooms and a covered lanai with ocean views perfect for lounging and watching the ocean. Furnished with 2 king beds and 1 queen size bed, it will sleep 6 guests comfortably. Amenities include two person jacuzzi bath, 42" TV/DVD, fully equipped kitchen and beach accessories for quality beach time.
Located across from Kalihiwai Beach and river, one of the island's best launches for stand up paddle boarding, kayaking upriver or out into the bay, swimming and boogie boarding. This is a favorite local beach on Kauai. Shopping, restaurants, golf courses and fun activities in the Kilauea, Princeville and Hanalei areas are nearby.

Overall
What a light, airy, open home, with really nice updates and amenities all around. The kitchen was outfitted with all quality tools to prepare and enjoy our meals, bedrooms all had extra blankets, there were plenty of beach towels, and there were so many great items in the garage to use down the street at the beach. We absolutely loved carrying the paddle boards over to the bay (even my 8 year old could help carry them easily) and paddling or swimming around. This was such a fun activity when we wanted to stay close to home but still do something fun outside. It was an incredibly easy walk right over, and we loved paddling up the river multiple times during our stay. The bay was surrounded by lush trees, and gave access to a swimming/ boogie-boarding friendly ocean beach with incredible cliff views. We truly appreciated the house being stocked with enough things like toilet paper, dish soap, cleaning spray, paper towels, etc. so that we had to purchase very few of this type of item on our own during our stay. There were cooler bags and sand toys in the garage, and we loved the engineered hardwoods for easy sweeping up of any sand that accidentally was tracked in. The covered lanai was great for sitting out and resting, as well as drying our towels and bathing suits in the sun on the hooks. Whenever we are able to return to this beautiful island, we would love to return to this home!
